About Insight Seminars

Insight is a non-profit led by some of the most talented, loving, and joyful people from around the world facilitating our Seminars, supporting our operations, and guiding our direction as an organization–many as volunteers

About the seminar

Insight Seminars are personal development seminars aimed at improving the emotional wellbeing.

Insight is a participatory seminar, with both lecture-format sections and experiential sections. Insight is unique through providing various tools that enable each participant to draw his or her individual conclusions.  In this sense, Insight is an experiential seminar (think learning how to bike, draw, anything else by doing), instead of prescriptive and theory based.

Insight does not teach religious doctrine of any kind. Insight was born from universal truths of loving, acceptance, and personal responsibility as dynamic and practical guides to living.

  • Take care of yourself so you can help take care of others
  • Don’t hurt yourself and don’t hurt others
  • Use everything for your uplifting, growth, and learning

If you would like to improve a specific area of your life or wish to boost the general quality of life, through a highly concentrated weekend, then Insight is for you.

During the initial days of the seminar, we ask each participant to draw his or her  wheel of life and to reflect on which areas may need the most work, as a imbalanced wheel does not turn smoothly and may lead to conscious or subconscious stagnation.

The participants usually come from all walks of life – architects, artists, actors, pianists, investors, small business owners, healthcare professionals, personal and fitness coaches, and many others..

In this sense, it is important for you to decide why the Seminar is right for you, as it touches on highly personal aspects that could unlock creativity instead of relating to professional occupations.

Enrolment

For the initial Insight I Seminar, there are no prerequisites.

For the subsequent seminars, one must have completed all prior seminars. E.g. in order to participate in Insight III, the participant must have completed Insight I and II.

No prior knowledge or experience with personal development is required to participate. Our participants come with highly diverse experiences, some with meditation or mindfulness practice, many without any prior knowledge.

Insight is an educational organisation, not a medical one. If there significant emotional or psychological challenges, then Insight may not be the right choice. We recommend initially seeking assistance from a qualified medical professional.

Most certainly, yes. Many couples have participated together and have found that their relationship has significantly improved after participating in the seminar.

Similarly, many family members have reported that their communication has highly improved after the seminar.

Friends that may not have been too close have become significantly closer after taking the seminar.

The price of the seminar is determined by renting central London Hotel conference rooms, facilitator expenses, supplies, and equipment.

We highly believe in the value and quality of our Seminars for the potential personal transformation they can offer.

Registration tuition includes a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit, which varies at the different seminars. Refunds will be granted if cancelled at least 14 days prior to the commencement of the registered seminar.

If not cancelled at least 14 days prior to the commencement of the registered seminar, tuition is non-refundable, but may be transferred, one time only, to a future Insight Seminar within 12 months.

Tuition not transferred to another Insight Seminar within 12 months of the initial seminar registration date will be forfeited. Tuition refund requests (less non-refundable registration fees) must be submitted in writing, and refunds will be processed within 30 days of receipt of a request.

Yes. If you let us know within 7 days after completing the full seminar that you’re not satisfied with your experience, then we’ll refund you the full amount of the seminar.

If you are keen on personal transformation, then we recommend that you set the intention and commit to the seminar by registering for it.

In our experience, we have found that if there is a clear intention to participate, various other commitments become aligned in such a way, as to enable us to focus on our intention.

Accomodation is not included in the price of the seminar.

During the seminar

Insight I, which is our initial seminar runs from Friday to Sunday.

Visit our events page for the latest information on upcoming seminars.

Generally, the seminar runs from 9:30am to 10pm during each day. Sometimes the lead facilitator of the seminar may adjust the timings as necessary.

Yes, there are multiple short breaks, and a longer lunch break each day.

Food isn’t provided and we recommend to bring plenty of snacks for the shorts breaks.

Usually there are multiple restaurants close to our venues, which may be useful for the longer breaks.

In order to gain the best value, it is considered vital to attend the full seminar for gaining the maximum benefit, as each subsequent exercise builds on the previous one.

After the seminar

The participants usually organise themselves in order to continue communicating, typically through a Facebook private group and/or Whatsapp group.

Additionally, we aim to have monthly workshops which are open to all, including past graduates.

We recommend checking back oftern at our website for the latest calendar of events and workshops.

Great to hear! As we are a volunteer-based organisation, we need all the support we can get. Please look at the Grads page for ways you can support Insight.
